We are looking for a strong strategic mind with a hands-on attitude who is eager to take ownership, work closely with senior leadership, and actively shape Statista’s next growth chapters.We are currently not actively hiring for this role, but we keep this posting open and will reach out as soon as a suitable position becomes available.YOUR JOBWhat you doAct as a central point of contact for all strategically relevant initiatives and topicsFacilitate cooperation between different teams to ensure the success of the projectSpecifying strategic objectives for the coming year and breaking them down into individual areasCarrying out and preparing well-founded market and competition analyses to identify new growth areasConnect the dots between ongoing initiatives, C-level priorities, and market developments, ensuring alignment and timely information flowPreparation of decision papers for the management based on complex information using qualitative and quantitative methodsPreparation and realization of workshops with senior management and key stakeholdersYOUR SKILLSWho you areApprox. 1-3 years of experience in strategy, start-up, consulting-related role or corporate development (internships or working student roles count)Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related fieldStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data independently and derive clear conclusions and recommendations from itIdeally basic knowledge of data analytics, as well as the ability to question analyses and optimize them together with the specialist departmentUnderstanding of and interest in market and competitive trendsExcellent perceptive skills with exceptional organizational and communication skillsAbility to work in a team and a positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement processesHigh level of initiative and commitment to the quality of work results as well as a structured and energetic way of workingExcellent English and German language skillsYOUR TEAMWho you work withThe Corporate Development Team is a highly dynamic team responsible for strategic and operational projects within Statista.
