The role in briefYou will join selectry as a Senior Recruiter and run end-to-end searches through our Hiring Engine for our clients. You own the process from structured intake to signed offer, use data to improve it, and build the sourcing infrastructure that makes the next search faster than the one before. Why this role existsselectry is a Berlin-based hr-tech company. We build and operate the Hiring Engine for plannable recruiting. Our three product lines cover different levels of recruiting ownership for our clients. What they share is a common requirement: searches need to be run well, documented clearly, and improved continuously. We are a small, senior team. Decisions move quickly. The work is concrete. We run our own searches and source proactively rather than relying on inbound volume. We source, assess, and advise, and we document every step. This role exists because the Hiring Engine needs an experienced recruiter who can carry searches independently, consult clients and hiring managers with evidence and clarity, and help build the sourcing and process infrastructure that makes selectry's output reliable and repeatable. What you will work onOwn the full recruiting lifecycle across client searches, from intake and role clarification through active sourcing, structured assessment, and offer management to signed contractDesign and run multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, XING, and direct outreach, including complex Boolean search and talent mapping for specialist and leadership profilesBuild and maintain talent pools of passive candidates across the segments selectry searches most frequently, structured, auditable, and ready for the next searchConduct structured, competency-based interviews and advise hiring managers on evaluation criteria, profile fit, and decision qualityTrack, analyse, and report on recruiting KPIs, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, funnel conversion, and source-of-hire, and use the data to improve the process at every stageCreate and maintain search briefs, outreach templates, and interview guides within selectry's documentation infrastructureLead employer branding projects for selectry itself, for example career page content, candidate experience improvements, and outreach standardsMust-havesStrong experience in recruiting, with end-to-end ownership of complex, specialist, or leadership hiring processes from sourcing through to offerHands-on active sourcing experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and multi-channel direct outreach, including the ability to design Boolean search strategies and talent maps independentlyExperience building and maintaining structured talent pools for passive candidate segments using a CRM or ATSExperience conducting competency-based candidate interviews and advising hiring managers on evaluation frameworks and profile decisionsKPI literacy: you have tracked recruiting data and used it to change a process, with a concrete example you can explainGerman at C2 level and English at minimum C1, both required from day one, as searches run in both languagesReliable self-management in a remote setup, careful documentation, and clear written communicationNice-to-havesBackground in sales recruiting, executive search, or specialist/leadership hiring in a B2B or technology environmentDelivered employer branding work with concrete outputs, for example employer value proposition (EVP) development, career page content, candidate experience design, or career fair coordinationFamiliarity with mid-market ATS or CRM-based recruiting platforms, for example Personio, Greenhouse, or RecruiteeFamiliarity with the DACH talent market and its sourcing dynamics, particularly for niche or hard-to-fill profilesHow we workselectry is fully remote within Germany, with our registered office in Berlin. The team is deliberately small so decisions are made quickly and work stays concrete. We use documented playbooks, clean process logic, and a tooling setup.Technology supports the work. Humans verify and decide. That applies to how we run our product and to how we work internally. There are no vanity metrics here. A good search is one where the right person was found, the process was fair, and the documentation lets us learn from it.Working conditionsLocation: 100% remote (DE), registered office in BerlinWork model: Full-time, flexible hours with agreed collaboration windowsContract: Permanent employmentLanguages: German C2 (mandatory), English min.
